Will Hughes has joined Watford on a five-year contract
Watford have completed the signing of Will Hughes from Derby.
The England U21 midfielder joins on a five-year contract for an undisclosed fee which Sky sources say is an initial £4.5m, potentially rising to £7m.
Hughes made his Derby debut as a 16-year-old in 2011 and went on to play 190 times for the Championship club despite missing most of the 2015/16 season with a damaged cruciate.
The 22-year-old is the first new arrival at Vicarage Road since Marco Silva replaced Walter Mazzarri as boss.
